Beyond the Blue Horizon Boutique Bungalows

We stayed at the property already for the second time 2024 / 2025 Attention to details, high standards even improved their kitchen, superb! I highly recommend it.

Beautiful oasis in the right in the center. The bungalow was sparkling clean and super comfortable. The owner and the entire team were incredibly nice and gave us great tips for the island, thank you!

Our biggest recommendation! There was absolutely nothing we didn’t love about this hotel. The location (close to everything but quiet and peaceful), the room, the pool, the breakfast, the magical atmosphere and especially the staff. Everything was exceptionally clean and highly maintained. The staff were always smiling, kind and helpful above and beyond. You could really see how much thought and effort was put into every detail. One of our top hotels for sure. Already looking forward to coming back next year!

Exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable rooms, great views, right by the sea. We were able to prolong our stay by 1 day without a problem. So we stayed in 2 rooms/ huts and found the smaller one to be even nicer.

Guests arrive at the upper end of Beyond the Blue Horizon and walk down rather steep stairs (with no railings) to check in at the beach level. I was concerned that some of the less active members of our group of 5 would struggle, but everyone loved the property and just took their time on the steps over our 4 day stay. It was a peaceful visit, with great food, incredible views and gracious hosts.If measuring the value of a property has anything to do with how often you talk about it to your friends when you get home, this place is the winner. I hope to go back for another visit one day.

Everything! We absolutely loved our stay here. The pool was brilliant to soak up the views or the surrounding beaches and even watch sunset in. The staff were all really friendly and so helpful with arranging taxis and bike hire. The breakfast was gorgeous and made even better by the views! We also ate here one evening and that was fantastic. We had a sea view room which I would highly recommend. The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything you would want for your stay.

Nothing we disliked - just a note that we would have found it difficult without scooters to get around & go to other places as there isn't lots near by in terms of restaurants etc but I feel that is similar for many areas on this Island. It was no inconvenience for us.

We had a super nice stay here! The surrounding was very relaxing, clean and calm. With the location right by the ocean, we spent some wonderfully relaxing days. Everyone here was super friendly and caring. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our time here a lot. Thank you so much! ?

This was my second stay at Beyond the Blue Horizon, and for good reason! The location is perfect, arguably the best in Srithanu, with a stunning, tranquil beach that’s truly impressive. The service from Emanuele, Nut, Lek, and the entire team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Although the weather wasn’t ideal this time, the staff went out of their way to ensure I made it to the ferry pier on time. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Hotel restaurant is very expensive compared to others nearby. If the prices were somewhat lower, maybe more people would dine there.

I really loved everything about it. We had amazing view the room was cozy and the staff were wonderful. The pool and the restaurant were beautiful and always clean. There was always someone present to help! The location is perfect and close to everything important on the island. Also it is right on the water and in the mornings the sea is like an extra pool the water comes right up to the stairs of the hotel and you just jump in and swim it’s dreamy

The only two SMALL things were that we didn’t have warm water in the shower for the first 2 days - we thought it was just island life but finally we asked the staff and they fixed it very quickly! The second thing is that I would have liked a bigger variety of choosing options for the breakfast since I like eggs but not with meat and warm vegetables BUT I had the salad with the boiled egg and it was absolutely delicious!!

The place is dreamy, very quiet and pleasent. We had everything in the Room, nothing was missing and it was always clean. The staff is very hospitable, and helps us with anything we needed.We had a lot of fun and had the chance to really relax there.

The place is a little bit far from the near center, about 10 min walking.

Amazing view from the balcony and from restaurant.Very comfortable to sleep bed and shower ( bathroom itself). Staff was very helpful. Everyday cleaning.

Lovely rooms with a view. Excellent breakfast. Perfect sunsets.We rented an longtailboat for a private tour to beautifull beaches and for snorkeling (arranged by manager). Go and enjoy!

The staff were absolutely amazing- so kind, smiley, intuitive and helpful. The food was a huge highlight, especially great in Thai and Italian cuisines. The help from the manager with booking a day trip was really helpful- and the property itself was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere at the poolside, brilliant facilities. Small things like having free water everyday in the fridge in our room made this brilliant.

At the very height of the day it’s difficult to angle the umbrellas to have full shade at the pool side, and although I’m sure it’s the reason for its immaculate cleanliness but the pool did smell very strongly of chlorine. Wifi was weak at the far end of the room but strong elsewhere.

Lovely small boutique hotel setting with staff that care! Bungalows are very unique and comfortable. Within walking distance of secret beach & many lovely local restaurants.
